Dungeons & Dragons is coming to MagicCon: Chicago!

MagicCon has become a place for us to come together and celebrate our love of one of the greatest games ever created, to play in events and tournaments with thousands of other fans, and experience three full days packed with so much Magic we can’t help but grow bigger and bigger every year. Well, if you haven’t seen the news, MagicCon: Chicago is about to be EVEN BIGGER because Dungeons & Dragons is making its official MagicCon debut in the Windy City!

We’ve been hard at work planning all sorts of panels, special guests, and of course opportunities to sit down and roll some dice at MagicCon. Whether you’ve never cracked open a Player’s Handbook before, or you’re a level 20 wizard/fighter multiclass, we’ve got something new for you and your friends to experience. 

MagicCon: Chicago has a plethora of activities for all ages! There are artists to sign your treasured items, content creators to meet, merchandise to purchase, a D&D Live Game that will feature some of the greatest talent in an awesome quest, and more! The best thing is that with most badge types, you’ll be able to participate in everything MagicCon has to offer.

D&D Level 20 VIP Badges - If you’re looking for the ultimate D&D experience at MagicCon, look no further. In addition to receiving foil promo cards, this package comes with an exclusive Level 20 dice set and container, a branded bag, THREE bespoke D&D sessions with a dedicated DM, and reserved seating at the D&D Live Game - not to mention 10% off at the Official MagicCon Show Store!

Legendary VIP Badges - Don’t need the Level 20 experience? No problem. Dungeons & Dragons makes its play debut at MagicCon: Chicago with a preview adventures for Legends of Greyhawk – a new convention-focused campaign and a special event brought to you by the producers of Chicago-local Level Eater! Looking to find your Magic fix hiding behind the Dungeon Master’s screen? How about a MTG x D&D play event set in the plane of Tarkir, allowing you and your friends to explore this dragon-infested plane together!

Three epic campaigns await and whether you’re taking Journey A, or Journey B, you’ll be sure to have fun with the talented DMs we’ve got lined up to guide you through ‘A Village Called Hommlet’, ‘Darkness in Nulb’, and ‘Ruins of the Moathouse’.

An all-star D&D table of players led by Samantha Béart (Karlach) return to the famed city as a familiar villain plots their revenge, all in the thrilling story-telling hands of Dungeon Master Aabria Iyengar. MagicCon: Chicago will be an amazing show for D&D fans, but one of the things that make it truly special are the panels filled with special guests and the fun they bring through stories and experiences. Below are our two D&D panels that fans are going to love! 

Burrowed in Strixhaven - 2/21 @ 11AM-2PM - Dicecream Sandwich leads three D&D Personalities: Mayanna Berrin, David Tilstra, Persephone Valentine, and one well-meaning Wizard, Matt Tabak, through a D&D one-shot where a band of colorful critters from Bloomburrow must journey to the arcane school of Strixhaven to rescue their village elder from a terrible fate! 

Dungeons and Delicacies - 2/21 @ 4PM-7PM - Kathleen of Loading Ready Run takes the Dungeon Master’s seat, leading four culinary characters: Chef Mike Haracz, Quincy’s Tavern, ZMain, and Urbanbohemian through a twisted competition sampling beasts from the new Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual. 

A part of going to MagicCon: Chicago is looking great and showing off the amazing apparel and goodies you get from the Official Store!
