Featured Areas at MagicCon: Amsterdam

Before you can play your first game, you must pick up your MagicCon badge at Registration/Will Call in Hall 2. A MagicCon badge is required for entry to all events at MagicCon. You will need your QR code confirmation email and a photo ID to receive your badge.

Registration/Will Call Hours

• Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Once you have your badge in hand, make sure to activate it to take full advantage of all the experiences MagicCon has to offer, including a very special scavenger hunt to help find FBLTHP and earn some cool rewards!

All merchandise included in your badge package will be available for pick up when you arrive at Registration/Will Call.

If you purchased additional merchandise online, you will need to visit the Official Show Store, located in Hall 1. Make sure to have your purchase confirmation ready and look for the designated line for “Pre-Order Merch”.  

The Show Store is open:

• Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Once you have your badge, continue to the Free-Play & Morning Queue area and follow the signage for morning entry.  You may choose to wait at one of the Free-Play tables or queue up for first entry at 10:00 AM.

MagicCon Hours:

• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 11:59 PM*
• Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

*The Show Floor closes at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Ticketed play continues until 11:59 PM.

MagicCon: Amsterdam is going to be a big event so make sure you plan ahead! If you have a ticketed play event starting before 11:00 AM we strongly encourage you to take advantage of early badge and merchandise pick-up starting at 8:30 AM and enter the morning queue as soon as you arrive. 

MagicCon: Amsterdam introduces some new products to the lineup! You can get your hands on new stylish wearables, accessories, and more items made specifically for the show, available onsite at the Official Show Store!

Here are just a few of our favorite things that will be offered:

Cracking packs, cheering at panels, and meeting artists can make for an exciting day, but the fun doesn’t stop when the convention doors are shut. Enter Night of the Living End: A MagicCon Emo Party! Get your fill of drinks and live music to kick off the first night of MagicCon, featuring Mr. Adrian and our headliner No Barrier!

• When: Friday, June 28, from 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Where: The Q-Factory, located at Atlantisplein 1, 1093 NE ( https://www.q-factory-amsterdam.nl/ )
• What: A Punk Rock party with your fellow Magic fans featuring Mr. Adrian, No Barrier, and Karaoke!
• Who: 18+ only. ID required upon entry.
• Wristband Pickup: Wristbands for the party can be picked up from Will Call/Registration. Please bring your email confirmation and photo ID.

Ticketed Play

It wouldn’t be a Magic event without play events! At MagicCon: Amsterdam, there is a full schedule of ticketed play events that are available to suit every skill level throughout the weekend. Check out all of the Magic Play and register for your events today.

Ticketed Play Events can sell out quickly – it is highly recommended that you register for your ticketed play events before arriving onsite! All event registration closes one hour prior to the event.

On Demand Events

Don’t forget to stop by the Ticketed Play Headquarters in Hall 5 to pick up your vouchers for On Demand Events (ODEs).

ODEs are perfect for players who don’t have time to commit to a scheduled Ticketed Play event but still want to play for prizes.

Vouchers can be used throughout the event and are good for any available On Demand Events.

Events are at a first come-first served basis on site so check out our On Demand Events schedule and mark your calendars for anything you may want to play!

Free-Play

Additionally, you’ll find a large amount of dedicated Free-Play on the show floor, and a Command Zone that is open to all attendees.

This interactive section of the show floor brings you face-to-face with your favorite MTG Content Creators! Witness a Spectacle Play event! Come meet and greet personalities you know and love at the Creator Play area while you check out their unique playstyles, formats, and live games! Pick up a MagicCon Passport and make some memories as we’re all reminded that the Gathering is the Magic. Learn More about Creator Central!

Art of Magic is where you can meet some of the talented artists who have created beloved card art during Magic's lifespan. While there are featured artists that we invite to come to each show, there are additional booths available for artists who wish to come and exhibit!

The pin trading program is an exciting show feature that keeps growing! Pin trading is dedicated to bringing the Magic Community together. How do you start your pin trading journey?  There will be pins available at the Official Show Store for purchase and at our incredible partner booths on the show floor! Get a pin and start trading with other MagicCon attendees and participating staff or exhibitors to collect all of the MagicCon: Amsterdam pins! Don't forget – participating staff will have super limited staff traders available to trade onsite.
