MagicCon: Las Vegas Cube

Pastimes Events is excited to bring you the MagicCon: Las Vegas Cube.

Thanks to Alex Hurley who worked hard to put this together and stuff as many little references, puns and themes in to celebrate the “Entertainment Capital of the World!”

The 15 card boosters are built so that every pack will have a multicolored land. The typical “Rare” slot is full of synergy cards and bomb spells. The “Uncommon” slots contain all the multicolored cards and the rest are randomly distributed among the “Common” slots. 

Area 51 (White)

The truth is out there - We’re sure of it. Can you fight your way to the truth and investigate the mysteries out there? Don’t fear the abduction! Strive to identify the flying objects in the sky… before they take you away

Loan Office (Blue)

What are the chances (Izzet)

“Play” the odds by tilting them in your favor. Extra chances are rare to come by but applying them to your rolls and flips can sway chances in your favor. Who needs luck when you can brute force heads with ten flips. Maybe you’ll win out with a legendary thumb. Maybe you’ll be demolished in a blaze of fireworks and glory.

Rodent Infestation (Golgari)

Squirrels and rats and squirrels and rats and squirrels. Create an endless fodder of rodents that can quickly spell doom for your opponent, chittering included.

Gold Rush (Boros)

There’s not a moment to spare, if you don’t get there first how will you get your fair share? Give your opponent FOMO of not being able to play the game by rushing them down.

Taking time to smell the roses sure, but take some time to see the sights. Eat all the food and even the landmarks are breathtaking, from Spheres and Pyramids and all the lights in between. Sometimes a short stop can reap huge rewards, and sometimes a location is a real tourist trap!

This town is full of characters. Some are all show, and some are all tell. Most are here to have a good time. Can you muster up a party and take this City by storm?

You may want the odds to ever be in your favor, but the best way to guarantee it is to take them into your own hands. There’s no testing of luck if you’ve already bent the chances to your favor.  You really have to make heads or tails of the situations.
