Magic has been around for over 30 years, and in that time, we’ve made a lot of friends and created a lot of communities, but many of us have also grown up in the hobby and created families of our own. We understand wanting to share that love of the game with those around you, which is where Family Magic comes into play at MagicCon: Las Vegas!

Our Family Magic show feature is designed to be a welcoming attraction for Magic fans of all ages and experience levels. Bring everyone you know to get a taste of the world of Magic through all sorts of different activities, from joining a Family League, to experiencing the world and characters of Magic through arts and crafts. 

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the show by relaxing together with one of our arts and crafts projects. We’ll have stations set up where you can create your own Magic tokens for all your needs, paint and take home an awesome miniature, or let your creativity shine with some classic coloring featuring some of Magic’s famous characters. You can also help us out by contributing to the Community Mana Mural, where MagicCon fans can showcase their creativity by working together with other fans to create and decorate a MagicCon Mural worth remembering! These activities will be ongoing, so stop by between games all weekend long to join in!

If you’re looking for a little more instruction, four guest artists will be lending their skills to Family Magic for scheduled lessons throughout the weekend! These Magic artists including Phil Stone, Kai Carpenter, Andrew “SchmandrewART” Thompson, and Crystal Sully will be making appearances at specific times, so make sure to check the schedule so you can plan when to stop by to learn some tips and tricks from the people who make Magic art so memorable!

We spend so much time customizing our decks, it only makes sense that we customize our deck boxes as well. Gather round the table and decorate your very own personalized deck box to play out the rest of MagicCon in style. 

For those looking for a change of pace, come to our friendship bracelet station and relax with other Magic fans are you create souvenirs of your very own to take home! Create memories with new friends and families at MagicCon while you whip up a unique convention accessory to show off to the whole show! 

These are all great reasons to stop by Family Magic, but this is still MagicCon, which means we’ve also got chances for you to play Magic! Every day, we’ll be running league games from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM open to everyone with a Kid’s Badge. Bring the family to their first league and get to know the competition, and maybe even win some extra cards!
